Gift Room Paris 2019
In preparation for the 44th César Awards ceremony, many actors, directors and distinguished guests gathered at the Gift Room in Paris. The concept of the event was simple: to present attendees with clothing, jewelry, perfumes and branded accessories that they would be able to wear during the prestigious ceremony.
To ensure the full success of the event, the organizers aimed to offer their guests a reception area that was both elegant and welcoming. The represented brands, in turn, sought to highlight their products in the most appealing way possible. For all involved, enhancing the reception area with an original decorative installation quickly became an obvious choice.
To combine both a decorative and promotional solution, the Gift Room called upon ODZO, specialist in green walls, to install a custom vegetated wall as well as a tailor-made water wall with an integrated television.
Green Wall and Water Wall Rental
Integrating a decorative solution that is both natural and temporary within the prestigious Westin Paris Vendôme hotel, the venue hosting the event, was a true challenge. Taking into account the limited timeframe, the reception area layout and the specific requirements of the organizers were all essential considerations for which ODZO’s experience and custom expertise proved invaluable.
To meet its client’s expectations, ODZO proposed two plant-based rental solutions to be installed in the reception space.
A custom-made artificial green wall
First, a custom artificial green wall was installed for the event. This green wall completely transformed the reception area, turning a traditional living space into an environment inspired by nature. To ensure it blended perfectly with the hotel’s interior, the installation was fully custom-made, including its dimensions, design and floral composition.
A water wall with integrated television
The second installation was a water wall with an integrated TV. Very on-trend, this feature offered a communication medium that was both original and highly effective. Guests enjoyed the visual experience as well as the gentle, soothing sound of flowing water.
To highlight their names and products, the brands were able to easily display all their promotional content on the screen. A photo booth was set up directly in front of the water wall with the integrated TV, allowing guests to have their photos taken during the event.
A resounding success among guests
Oscar-nominated artists and well-known personalities from the fashion and television world all enjoyed the event. Impressed by ODZO’s elegant décor, guests shared very positive feedback about the installation. Their enthusiasm, combined with successful brand exposure, made the Gift Room 2019 a real success.
