Water wall at the heart of a concept store

Odzo, a specialist in French-designed and French-made water walls, regularly contributes to the creation of unique spaces, offering modern and distinctive layouts alongside prestigious partners. For this new project, Odzo’s artisans and designers collaborated with L’Occitane en Provence, a major name in the cosmetics industry, and Pierre Hermé, the world-renowned pastry chef.
This collaboration took place on the world’s most beautiful avenue: the Champs-Élysées, in Paris’s 8th arrondissement.

The L’Occitane & Pierre Hermé concept store

Located at 86 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the two Houses, both emblematic of French savoir-faire and lifestyle, have combined their talents to design a space unlike any other. Blending elements of a perfume boutique, a wellness area, a tearoom and a gourmet counter, the venue immerses visitors in an environment dedicated to relaxation and sensory pleasure.

Laura Gonzalez, architect at the Pravda Arkitect agency, set out to imagine a place with a completely unique identity, bringing together the essence of both brands within a single cohesive space. She collaborated with highly skilled artisans known for the quality of their work, creating an interior enhanced by bespoke decorative pieces, ceramics, custom-made furniture, marble counters and hand-blown glass elements.

The water wall designed for the space

To bring a dynamic and natural decorative touch to this living area, the architect commissioned Odzo to design a bespoke water wall. The warm orange tone echoes the colors of the cosmetics brand and the spirit of Provence. Its natural and refreshing presence creates a soothing atmosphere that transports visitors into a calm, comforting environment infused with serenity. This type of installation takes on its full meaning in such a prestigious location on the Champs-Élysées and within this remarkable collaboration. The gentle sound of the flowing water adds an additional sensory dimension, enhancing the experience with a calming effect. This is why renting a water wall for an event has become increasingly popular, as it helps create an ambience that is both unique and relaxing.

The L’Occitane boutique invites visitors from around the world, and especially Parisians who too often overlook the most famous avenue in the world, to rediscover the space. Far from daily concerns, each guest is encouraged to enjoy the pleasures of French gastronomy and the wellbeing offered by high-quality cosmetic products that care for both body and mind.
